When the Millionaires Club was launched, there were rumors of a “Viral Infection” Zombie feature that would arrive at the Rockstar Social Club in the future. Well, the “Viral Infection” is here and it’s available at the social club now. Get ready to see Zombies wearing yellow panties running around Liberty City!

There is a virus sweeping through Grand Theft Auto IV turning many unsuspecting players into Zombies. If you’ve seen the special Zombie-with-yellow-briefs player skin running around during Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer, then you may already know that the virus can be contracted in any and all multiplayer modes and is spread when an unsuspecting player kills someone who has the infection (note that the infected don’t necessarily have to be wearing the Zombie skin, some show no symptoms!). The signs of infection are: access to the zombie skin and having the Achievement “Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie”. With the all-new Viral Infection feature at the Rockstar Social Club, members can now see whether they are currently infected, the number of total global infections and the number of infections in the last 24 hours. Digging deeper, Social Club members can also browse a color-coded world map tracking the spread of the infection worldwide, including breakdown for all 50 US States. More news aboug The Ballad of Gay Tony, it is the second of two episodes of Xbox 360 content built to extend the Grand Theft Auto IV experience. Luis Lopez is a Dominican-born second-in-command to nightclub magnate Gay Tony. The drug-addled Tony, losing a grip on his empire, puts Luis in dangerous circumstances in an attempt to retain his power.

The episode adds missions, characters, weapons, multiplayer modes, new gameplay features and more. All of these play a vital role in creating the spectacular experience that is The Ballad of Gay Tony.

If the beginning of the series were difficult with the first 2 components, Rockstar has simply created a genre that control throughout the final to win this time a success level with GTA 3 and Vice City,. GTA IV has also a comprehensive multiplayer mode that extends the adventure through the streets of Liberty City. It represents the opening of the series to play online. In addition, a total of fifteen different modes available to owners of an online account. For example, it may be asked players to access a specific point on the map above all others. We then can choose the place of action, its duration, the weapons allowed, the type of sight (automatic or manual), the presence or absence of police, traffic density, and a pile of other parameters. The player can also choose the look of his character, from gender to the face through the clothing and accessories, although the choice of base remain restricted to this level.

Finish Liberty City and its gray buildings, up to Vice City, with its sandy beaches, palm trees, golf, Cuban’s district, Little Haiti, its bars, its airport, hotels, clubs strip, its film studio, with its many cafes, its jewelry stores, its pizzeria, its police headquarter… Rockstar is strong and performs the feat of creating a city even greater than the previous one. Vice City is twice larger than Liberty City. This means two things. First, missions promise to be more varied than GTA 3 and they are. Secondly, there are twice as many small streets and major boulevards to survey, which extended the duration of life already substantial. It is absolutely not disappointed to leave Liberty City and moved to Vice City. The city is huge and is composed of two main islands which have been added a few others much smaller. There is the bridge work that we are blocking access to certain areas but will open after a few successful missions.

If the city is not the same as in GTA 3, it does the crook that we manage. The newcomer is called Tommy Vercetti. Freshly landed in town, he works on behalf of Sonny Forelli, a big shot in a neighboring town that looks to extend its influence to Vice City. On arrival, you are responsible for overseeing the purchase of a big bag of coke. The transaction goes wrong and you lose both the money and goods. You’ll have to make contacts, meet people more or less clean which will allow you to trace the channels by performing for them a whole bunch of small missions never legal, and even more often totally immoral. Beat judges, destroying cars, intimidate rival gangs, kill bad payers, as many distractions that should fill your afternoons.

This is the first downloadable content pack for GTA 4 that will available for the Xbox 360 and it’s the first release of three DLC packs that Rockstar plan to release.

Entitled Grand Theft Auto 4 : The Lost and Damned, the pack will see 360 gamers take on the role of Johhny Klebitz, acting head of the The Lost Brotherhood biker gang and the guy that betrayed Niko in a botched diamond deal in GTA 4. The DLC is released in February 09 at a cost of $15.
