Grand Theft Auto 5 expected release date: 2010 / 2011
Posted by Realgamez.com in Uncategorized on 04 8th, 2010| | Comments Off

A quick short news update about the new grand thef auto 5 release:

The Grand Theft Auto V release date will be between November 2010 and October 2011. They already have a story GTA5 is already in the planning stage and you will see it at the beginning of 2011. Then there’ll be Grand Theft Auto 5. We hope that Rockstar will reach new heights with this new GTA V game.

Rockstar has confirmed that there would be no GTA5 in 2009. Rockstar probably thought it would damage sales of their two upcoming GTA4 downloadable episodes (already released). As a result 2010 is looking more logical for GTA 5.

Grand Theft Auto IV The Lost and Damned coming to the PS3?
Posted by Realgamez.com in Uncategorized on 03 21st, 2010| | Comments Off

There is a rumor that the expansion “The Lost and Damned” is playable on the PlayStation 3. Some people played this in a area on the Sony stand. Forum messages about it were deleted, so they don’t wanna let the whole world know.

It’s kinda strange because back in 2007 Microsoft told that they paid 50 million dollar to have the game exclusively for the 2 expansions.

But on the Sony-stand they showed pictures and logos of the “Episodes From Liberty City” on the screens. The “Episodes From Liberty City” is “Lost and Damned” and “The Ballad of Gay Tony” on 1 disc. Perhaps this means that we could expect this on the play station 3.

Survey questions Karma likeability in GTA
Posted by Realgamez.com in Uncategorized on 05 7th, 2009| | Comments Off

gtakarma
A recent survey conducted by Play Insights asks survey participants what their thoughts are on a karma system being implemented into a GTA game. Karma systems have been used in other games such as Fable 2 and Fallout 3, but would it work for GTA? GTA is notoriously known for it’s crime missions and running old ladies and prostitutes over. The question asks participants to focus on whether it would benefit GTA not how it could be put into the game play. Considering the genre and plot of GTA, how it could be added into future games, could be difficult. Unless it was a “Really Bad” and “Bad” karma system. While in free roam the bad points could tally up, but the missions are sure to bring the really bad points up.

The full question is as follows:

Do you think Grand Theft Auto would benefit from having a “karma” system or “good” vs. “evil” actions mechanism that allowed you to choose your overall path by doing good or bad actions, where those actions have an accumulative impact on how the game unfolds? When answering, please consider the idea of being “good” or “evil” and NOT the particular execution / how this feature would be implemented.

With the answer choices being big improvement, minor improvement, neither better nor worse, slightly worse and a lot worse. How would you pick if you’d been sent this survey?

GTA4 inspires teens to commit crimes
Posted by Realgamez.com in GTA News, Uncategorized on 06 27th, 2008| | Comments Off

gta
Stephen Attard a 18 year old teenage was arrested and charged with first-grade robbery after police say that his fellow mates and himself went on a crime spree.

To cut a long story short, when the committed the crimes they basically wanted to emulate or copy Nico Bellic, the main character in Rockstars title Grand Theft Auto IV.

They did street robberies, attacked a man and stole his belongings, as well as creating human roadblocks and things similar.

Moral of the story: Make sure what happens in GTA, stays in GTA. :-P
