If the beginning of the series were difficult with the first 2 components, Rockstar has simply created a genre that control throughout the final to win this time a success level with GTA 3 and Vice City,. GTA 3, which laid the foundations in Vice City who added the importance of the atmosphere. Today, forget the replica of Miami to run straight towards the sun of California, hidden under the name of a vast region: San Andreas. Not one but 3 cities filled with freeways, avenues, alleys steep but separated by areas of countryside off their roads and their brush. The first of these cities will be Los Santos, a Los Angeles copy. San Fierro is none other than San Francisco, with its hilly streets and blue houses. Finally you will find Las Venturas, aka Las Vegas, the city dotted with gambling casinos and surrounded by a desert used to deposit heavy corpses. It does not take long to understand in terms of environment, San Andreas exploded since the counters alone, the city of Los Santos is already as large as Vice City.
So after 80s gangsters, Rockstar is moving towards a world adapted to the new geography of the Californian gangster’s ghetto. Returning from Liberty City, the young black Carl Johnson, aka CJ, is in the dark trouble. But even worse, finding his band, CJ learns his mother’s death, murdered by a rival gang, began the reconquest the territory and the quest for revenge. Get ready to hear “Yo Bro” and “Wassup Nigga”, in turn, also including the classic “I want to ice those fools.” By not dwell on the history and the many characters in the game, but for simplicity, quality is always there with strong personalities and a doubling of undoubted excellence.

Size and weight average, two-day beard, look banal and overlooked, natural refreshments, not beneficial… Niko Bellic has nothing of the hero who drives the mechanical and dropped the girls by the dozens. The antithesis of what the emerging Tommy Vercetti, Carl Johnson and company, the character that the player will incarnate for several tens of hours set aside the clichés of another time. Rockstar has matured with its series, more worrying than ever. Come straight from Eastern Europe, Niko joined his cousin Roman, based in Liberty City, which promises a life of quiet and luxurious, like a well-deserved retirement. An American dream, of course, quickly faced by a grim reality more than he had described this old Roman. A private taxi to the thriving little business, a guest room that includes just the minimum… No rhinestones or sequins, no beautiful bodywork or strippers, not even a shadow of a decent housing. The fall is tough. Roman actually need the rare talents that Niko has to bring some order into a life in danger every day…

GTA IV has also a comprehensive multiplayer mode that extends the adventure through the streets of Liberty City. It represents the opening of the series to play online. In addition, a total of fifteen different modes available to owners of an online account. For example, it may be asked players to access a specific point on the map above all others. We then can choose the place of action, its duration, the weapons allowed, the type of sight (automatic or manual), the presence or absence of police, traffic density, and a pile of other parameters. The player can also choose the look of his character, from gender to the face through the clothing and accessories, although the choice of base remain restricted to this level.
