Psy and the team over at GTA4.tv have created this awesome video displaying some free mode stunting, watch it!

Heres a bunch of random stats and information regarding multi-player on Grand Theft Auto IV =)

• There is a total of 15 different game modes.
• When you kill another player you earn $100.
• When you die, you lose $100.
• Games are in random order, you will either join an already set up match or create your own.
• Your online character is totally customizable you can change basically anything about him/her.
• Each game mode can be configured by the game host to make the match easier/harder.
• Maximum number of players you can have in a match is 16

New York Times have recently interviewed Michael Hollick who if you did not know is the voice of Nico Bellic in Grand Theft Auto IV. The main purpose of the interview was to discuss whether actors in video games should get reward rates, penalties etc.

Hollick according to reports only got paid around $100,000 for the 15 months of work he did and says it was very disappointing to see GTA 4 earn millions in it’s first week and for him not to get a cut of it

Micheal Hollick does not blame Rockstar Games but rather the Screen Actors Guild for not setting up guidelines.

Have you ever tried to describe where something is or how to get there to your friends on Grand Theft Auto 4? Well if you haven’t, it gets really confusing but now theres a solution. A website has launched called “GTA SnapMap” what it does is allows you to set a “blip” on the section of the map you want and then show your friends you map by using the URL’s they provide.

As most of you aware, it’s no secret that the Australian and New Zealand version of GTA IV is different to the ones that have been sold anywhere else in the world. Cuts have had to be made to ensure that the game could be released in Australia, with the un-cut version not going to be able to get accepted. So in Australia the game is now rated MA 15+ which is the highest a game can rate but just what is missing from Australia’s version of GTA 4?

Heres a quote from PalGN of some of the things that the version has cut out,

“According to Mick, when players pick up a prostitute in the Australian version, there is no way to select a ‘service’ from the prostitute. The sexual intercourse sex animation has also been completely removed, so players will only see the car bounce from a locked rear-view. In the uncut version, after selecting a service from the prostitute, players can rotate the camera to see the prostitute’s actions.”

Aussies are also missing out on enhanced blood effects such as blood pools, bloody footprints and seems to be also missing tyre tracks.

If you got the special edition of GTA4 when you bought your copy, you would know that you get a safety deposit box with it which you can use to stash things in and hide them, such as money, valuables and more, however one guy has used his deposit box and took it to an entire new level.

Mark Harris has used the deposit box and created a Mini-ITX PC from it, and it’s a good size as well, around the size of a hardcover book, take a look at the picture below.

Heres the Xbox 360 Top Live Titles from 5/5 to 5/11, and as expected GTA is still up there at number one spot, with Call of Duty been bumped down to second spot, bet there not enjoying that! =P

Heres a few interesting stats regarding Grand Theft Auto IV.

• Around 3.6 million copies of the game were sold on launch day
• The game grossed approx. $500 million in its first week
• Many gaming websites have gave it the highest possible ranking
• Some minor bits of the game had to be removed so it could be released in Australia under the classification system
• May 7: The day that Rockstar and Sony released the update for the PS3, it was to prevent the GameSpy servers from getting overloaded
